Ground Transportation

  • From PDX to the OSU Portland Center and Royal Sonesta
    • It is easy to take the MAX Redline (light rail) from PDX Airport to the Pioneer Square North stop, which is one block from the OSU Portland Center, and three blocks from the Royal Sonesta.
    • Rideshare (Uber & Lyft)
      • Estimated Cost: $35+ (varies by demand)
      • Pickup Location: Follow airport signs to the designated rideshare pickup area outside of baggage claim.
      • Travel time: 20+ minutes (depending on time of day)
  • From the OSU Portland Center to the Thursday night dinner location, the Dough Zone Dumpling House
    • The restaurant is located about one mile from the OSU Portland Center on the Portland waterfront, 1910 S River Dr, Portland, OR.
    • Walk to the restaurant or travel by Portland Street Car or MAX Orange Line
    • Link to a trip planner map showing both Street Car and MAX options
    • For the Street Car, depart from SW 11th and Taylor, on either the NS Line to South Waterfront, or the B Loop to Lloyd via OMSI. Get off at the S River Pkwy & Moody stop.

Tentative Schedule

  • All meeting sessions will be held at the OSU Portland Center. Presentations will be in Classroom 2047. The Review Team will caucus in the Fireside Room. The hackathon will be held in the Morrison Room, which will also be available for small group gatherings and lunch during Thursday and Friday.
